Knife Skills & Fire by Sparks

A day in the woods learning knife skills, the bushcraft knife is the most used tool in the bushcraft and survival world . We will teach you knife choice, safety, strokes, designs, the law and also cover small bushcraft saw use.

Once you have got to grips with the knife basics we will move you on to fire lighting, the next link in the bushcraft chain. Using your knife skills you make fire lighting easy even when the weather is poor! Covering tinder, firewood selection and firelays we will move around the woodland collecting tinder and wood. All tools and materials are supplied.

The day is based in a woodland under a shelter around the campfire, we supply hot drinks from the campfire kettle & drinking water.
